Purty View

Purty ain’t it?

It has been nearly three years, but I’m still very proud to say that I’ve stepped foot atop Longs Peak. I blogged about it here and aside from a few quick photos I posted back then, have yet to really do anything with that photo set (hmmm… I guess I’ll have to take care of that).

So, this photo I took out at Golden Ponds, where my father-in-law has a membership and he likes to take the kids fishing (and I get to come along, occasionally). Nothing remarkable about this photo, other than the fact that, it is easy to get used to such a spectacular view and take it for granted. I don’t. I love to see the sun light up Longs peak in the mornings, and I’ll post other shots I’ve taken soon.
